How to Teleport Anywhere in Skyrim (coc)

The coc command — "center on cell" — teleports you straight to any named location in Skyrim, no fast-travel required. All you need is the cell's editor ID, which you can copy from our Skyrim location pages.

How to teleport with coc

1. Open the console with the tilde key (~). New to it? See the opening the console guide.
2. Type coc <CellID> and press Enter. For example coc Riverwood or coc WhiterunOrigin.
3. You're whisked to that cell instantly — from anywhere, even other interiors.

The QASmoke test room

Type coc qasmoke to reach QASmoke, Bethesda's internal testing cell. Its chests are stuffed with nearly every item in the game. To leave, don't fast-travel — use coc again to a normal cell such as coc WhiterunOrigin.

Teleporting to world coordinates

For a spot in the open world rather than a named interior, use cow Tamriel <x> <y> — "center on world" — to warp to exterior grid coordinates in the Tamriel worldspace. For example cow Tamriel 5 -8.

Notes & tips

• Cell IDs are the editor names, not the in-game place names — copy them from our location list to get them exactly right.
• Avoid coc-ing out of the Helgen intro or out of qasmoke before the game expects it — it can skip required scripting and break early quests. Save first.
