tdetect Console Command

Documentation and examples for the tdetect command in Skyrim.

tdetect

NPCs & Actors

Toggle AI detection so NPCs cannot notice you.

Examples

Here is an example of how to use tdetect.

Stops NPCs from detecting the player.

Overview

Switches AI detection on or off. While disabled, no NPC can see, hear or otherwise sense you, which lets you steal, sneak and pickpocket without ever being caught. Note that pickpocketing while detection is off can fail oddly, so toggle it back when finished. Repeat the command to restore normal detection.
