markfordelete Console Command

Documentation and examples for the markfordelete command in Skyrim.

markfordelete

NPCs & Actors

Permanently delete a reference from the save.

Examples

Here is an example of how to use markfordelete.

Permanently deletes the selected reference.

Overview

Flags the selected reference for permanent removal so it is deleted from your save, usually combined with disable first. Unlike disable alone, this cannot be undone, so use it only on clutter you are certain you no longer need. Never use it on quest-critical references or persistent NPCs, as it can corrupt quest state.
