All 24 Unusual Gems scattered across Skyrim. Collect every one for the Thieves Guild quest No Stone Unturned, then return them to claim the Crown of Barenziah and the Prowler's Profit perk.
The Stones of Barenziah are 24 gems hidden in homes, palaces and dungeons throughout Skyrim — each one shows up as an Unusual Gem until it is appraised. Hand all 24 to Vex in the Thieves Guild to finish No Stone Unturned, reassemble the Crown of Barenziah, and earn Prowler's Profit, which makes you find far more gems in loot. You can also add the gem straight to your inventory with the player.additem console command — open the console with the ~ key.

Dragonsreach (Whiterun)
In the Jarl's Quarters above the throne room — climb the two staircases to the Jarl's bedroom and grab the gem off the nightstand by the bed.
Jorrvaskr (Whiterun)
Down in the Companions' Living Quarters, in Kodlak Whitemane's room at the end of the hall — it sits on the cupboard.
Hall of the Dead (Whiterun)
Inside Whiterun's catacombs — from the entrance take the first left, then right and down the ramp; the gem rests beside a skeleton on the left.
Blue Palace (Solitude)
In Jarl Elisif's palace — take the left stairs to the upper floor and follow the hall into her bedroom; the gem is on the table by her bed.
Proudspire Manor (Solitude)
Inside the home you can buy in Solitude — head to the top-floor master bedroom; the gem sits atop the wardrobe just behind the door.
Understone Keep (Markarth)
In the Dwarven Museum wing — behind a locked gate on the left side of the museum, the gem sits on a table in the corner.
Treasury House (Markarth)
Home of the Silver-Blood family — the gem is in Thonar's bedroom.
Palace of the Kings (Windhelm)
In the court wizard Wuunferth the Unliving's quarters off the great hall — the gem is on his table.
House of Clan Shatter-Shield (Windhelm)
Search the first upstairs bedroom on the left to find the gem.
Mistveil Keep (Riften)
In the Jarl's private quarters within the keep.
Black-Briar Lodge
Upstairs in the lodge's master bedroom.
College of Winterhold
In the Arch-Mage's Quarters — the gem rests on a shelf in the living area.
Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary
On the dresser in Astrid's room.
Ansilvund
Deep in the Ansilvund Burial Chambers — the gem sits on a table in the final room.
Stony Creek Cave
Take the path branching off to the right just before the large water pool guarded by a bandit.
Pinewatch
Push through to the Pinewatch Bandit's Sanctuary; in the room of empty draugr alcoves, pick the locked door on the right — the gem is on the top shelf of the bookcase inside.
Sunderstone Gorge
On the altar in front of the word wall at the end of the cave.
Dainty Sload
Aboard the wrecked ship near Solitude — work through the storage hold to the upper-deck quarters and take the gem off the table.
Rannveig's Fast
Where the trapdoor drops you into the lower chamber — the gem is near the chest beside the word wall.
Dead Crone Rock
On the makeshift altar in front of the word wall atop the final tower.
Fellglow Keep
On the counter in the workshop, between the arcane enchanter and the alchemy lab.

In the conjurers' cave on the northern coast — the gem is up on a shelf.
